Job Title: ICT Manager

About the Role:

The ICT Manager will oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of data connections, networks, servers, firewalls, and associated hardware and software. This includes ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance of ICT systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and management of data connections, networks, servers, firewalls, and associated hardware and software.
  • Maintenance of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Monitoring of systems for vulnerabilities and prompt response to incidents.
  • Development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Risk assessments and mitigation strategies to safeguard operations.
  • Building resilience and redundancy into critical systems and infrastructure.
  • Timely and efficient delivery of ICT support services across the organisation.
  • User training and promotion of digital literacy across the business.
  • Management of relationships with external service and technology suppliers.
  • Development and implementation of the organisation's ICT Business Plan aligned with the Corporate Business Plan.
  • Research and evaluation of emerging technologies to drive innovation and business value.

About You:

This role requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred). The ideal candidate should hold professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CCNA, Microsoft Certified, AWS Certified. They should have a minimum of 5-8 years of progressive ICT experience, with at least 3 years managing ICT helpdesk and other suppliers. Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure, networking, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity is essential. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
