Disability Programme Leader

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to lead our Disability Programmes. The Programme Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, delivery, development and day-to-day organization of these programmes in accordance with service agreements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage activities and tasks related to team coordination, scheduling, and other responsibilities
  • Be proficient in conflict management and lead staff giving clear direction and support as required
  • Continually seek to improve programme standards through research, networking, and collaborating with experts
  • Own and manage the annual budget for the programmes, making the best use of resources
  • Ensure that all certification, licensing, and accreditation standards are met and maintained
  • Create a structure to guide employees through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and consultation
  • Motivate employees to take ownership and accountability for their work and build confidence in evidence-based strategies
  • Develop and run training programmes for stakeholders concerning developmental needs
  • Ensure the environment is suitable for service delivery, collaborating with colleagues as needed
  • Liaise with parents/guardians of service users and oversee recruitment processes
  • Collaborate with professionals on reports, statistics, business plans, and service agreements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A recognized qualification at MQF level 6 or higher in Disability studies, Social Science or relevant field
  • Minimum three years' experience working in a relevant field/sector
  • One year of Leadership experience in a similar role
