Position Overview:

As a Strategic Enterprise Sales Executive at Databricks, you will leverage your expertise in selling to both large and medium-sized organizations. Your role involves driving innovation and transformation by expanding customer visions and facilitating swift decision-making processes. You possess a deep understanding of our product and are dedicated to effectively communicating its value to clients and system integrators. Your proactive approach will enable you to secure new accounts while nurturing existing relationships. In addition to the opportunity to close significant deals, we provide accelerators for surpassing 100% of your sales quota.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present a comprehensive territory strategy within your first 90 days.
  • Engage with CIOs, IT leaders, line-of-business executives, program managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Successfully close both new and existing accounts.
  • Identify and secure quick wins while managing longer, more intricate sales cycles.
  • Surpass activity, pipeline, and revenue goals.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including use cases, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Employ a solution-oriented sales approach to deliver value to customers.
  • Advocate for Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform, powered by Apache Spark.
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction across all engagements.
  • Prioritize opportunities and allocate appropriate resources effectively.
  • Formulate a success plan both internally at Databricks and externally with your clients.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Portuguese and professionally proficient in English.
  • Experience in an early-stage company with a proven track record of success.
  • Field sales experience in big data, cloud computing, or SaaS.
  • Established relationships with CIOs, program managers, and other critical decision-makers.
  • Able to clearly articulate complex cloud technologies.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience consistently exceeding sales targets in a full-cycle closing role.
  • Proven success in acquiring new accounts while managing existing ones.
  • Familiarity with Spark and big data technologies.
  • A genuine passion for cloud solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
