Business Data Expert Opportunity

This is a chance to join our finance team and lead the execution of global data management in our systems. As a business process expert, you will facilitate and evolve standardized and efficient data processes and governance with a focus on controls.

About the Role
  • You will manage an ongoing queue of requests for counterparty master data ensuring that all requests are valid, accurate and completed within service level agreements supporting our systems and regions
  • Evaluate process needs and collaborate with data team members, businesses, and IT to identify efficiencies in achieving automation, standardization, and continuous process improvement
  • Manage and lead projects to improve processes and data quality, identifying issues, root causes and gaps
  • Lead and guide team members to implement enterprise best practices, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
  • Coach and align associates with data work and projects, ensuring optimal support and service
  • Participate in technology decisions to enable & enhance data governance processes and data quality monitoring by performing requirements analysis and testing
  • Develop and grow strong cross-functional relationships to ensure the achievement of department and business objectives, navigating complex issues and change management through collaboration and communication
  • Collaborate with Internal Controls and other stakeholders to effectively manage controls and mitigate risks
  • Develop, monitor and present key performance indicators and service level agreements to leadership depicting opportunities for improvement and measures of success
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or related Business field
  • 7+ years of experience working in finance, data governance, data administration or data related field or equivalent business experience
  • 2+ years of experience supervising and leading a team
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
Additional Skills
  • Previous use of SAP data management and governance tools
  • Experience leading and influencing across business and functional boundaries
  • Experience leading continuous improvement projects and tasks
  • Experience leading or supporting a global team
