Sr Product Development Engineer
As a Senior Product Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and growth within the aerospace industry. Your dynamic team will focus on developing customer products from concept to mass production, ensuring proactive requirements and risk management for all technical aspects.
- Develop customer products from concept to mass production, ensuring proactive requirements and risk management for all technical aspects.
- Ensure customer specifications, cost targets, design-to-manufacture, and timing goals are met.
- Act as technical liaison between product development teams and customers, as well as internal functions like design, manufacturing, and industrialization.
- Supervise product testing, handle hazardous substances, interpret test results, and introduce necessary actions to ensure all requirements are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable education.
- Strong experience in the automotive industry with blow molding product design knowledge including welding and assembly.
- Proven skills in product design, engineering systems, DFMEA, CAD/CAE & Simulation, materials, GD&T, D/FMA, quality tools, problem-solving, and product testing.
- Portuguese and English fluency is required.
