Job Overview

The Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the success of our transportation operations. This position requires exceptional planning and decision-making skills to optimize logistics strategies.

  • Independently manage assigned lanes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to customers participating in the Cold Share Consolidation program.
  • Select appropriate means to plan profitable and efficient transportation, taking into account customer requirements and logistical constraints.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive transportation plans, utilizing expertise to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with customers and carriers to resolve issues and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Negotiate rates with external carriers to secure optimal transportation solutions.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate shipping schedules and timely deliveries.
  • Implement effective communication strategies to convey load details to external carriers and ensure seamless execution.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation Planning: Develop and implement strategic transportation plans to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.
  • Carrier Management: Build and maintain relationships with carriers, negotiating rates and terms to secure optimal transportation solutions.
  • Order Fulfillment: Collaborate with customers and carriers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Logistics Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
