
Strategic Marketing Director

As a marketing leader, you will be responsible for operationalizing the business unit's (BU) marketing strategy across product categories and therapeutic areas in the local market, ensuring maximum return on investment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of local/regional financial targets by operationalizing the BU marketing strategy across product categories and therapeutic areas in the local market.
- Partnering with sales directors and controllers to set local market/regional priorities and A&P budget, ensuring maximum return on investment.
- Leading, coaching, and developing the marketing organization in terms of structure, talent, and capabilities.
- Enabling brand managers to drive activation of the BU marketing strategy in the local market.
- Securing local/regional market input to global brand strategies through brand managers.
- Securing steering of brand and communications development as part of the lead market model.
- Developing, managing, and implementing marketing plans and activities for assigned brands in line with global and/or BU guidelines.
- Ensuring alignment with local sales functions to drive a full digital funnel approach and improve sales and marketing productivity, fully leveraging digital marketing platforms.
- Facilitating close and effective collaboration with global teams, such as GBIS/GMI/Digital Marketing CoEs.
- Managing key external stakeholders, including KOLs, industry associations, and third-party vendors.
- Actively contributing as part of the local market leadership team or regional marketing team.
Requirements:
- Professional background in marketing, business administration, industrial engineering, or related areas.
- Desirable postgraduate degree or specialization in marketing or business administration.
- At least 6 years of experience in management positions with technical knowledge and defined competencies.
- Knowledge of marketing, project management, finance, sales channels, brand development, commercial, market measurement, consumer research, and analytical skills.
- Experience in brand building and execution B2B - B2C.
- Knowledge in FMCG or health desirable.
- Experience in leading people and networking across enterprise.
