Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabling Specialist to join our team. As a Cabling Specialist, you will play a vital role in designing, building, and maintaining mission-critical technology systems that drive business success.


Your Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive hardware definitions for cabling infrastructure;
- Define cable specifications and standards;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Optical Fiber and UTP metal cable technologies;
- Install and maintain fiber optic and metal UTP cables, ensuring high-quality connections;
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with metal and optical fiber cables;
- Conduct certification tests using precision equipment (Power Meter, OTDR) on copper and optical fibers;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network architectures;
- Physical installation of rack and network equipment;
- Develop and execute DE/PARA projects;
- Manage removal of copper and optical fiber cables;
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, and network management tools;
- Strong understanding of Information Technology principles and best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • NR-35 - High Work Training;
  • NR-33 - Confined Spaces Work Training;
  • Fluke CCTT Certification - Copper;
  • Fluke CCTT Certification - Fiber;
  • Custom Commscope Service SYSTIMAX - Installation and Maintenance (SP3361) Certification;
  • Basics of Structured Cabling for Data Center Testing.
