Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Payroll Officer to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for providing an accurate and efficient payroll service to our hotels and team members across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist team members with payroll-related requests and handle complaints promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage payroll systems and ensure the integrity of data.
  • Process wages based on approved hourly rates or salaries, including allowances, leave types, and deductions using imported time and attendance data.
  • Process final payments and calculate termination payments.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained as set out in the National Employment Standards for wages.
  • Generate reports after each payroll and distribute to department managers.
  • Submit audit reports to the Hotel Accountants/Finance Managers.
  • Complete end-of-financial-year payroll processes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Fair Work Australia National Employment Standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in high-volume payroll.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and systems (Employment Hero and Ready Workforce desirable).
  • Knowledge of The Hospitality Industry and General Modern Award desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Maintaining sensitive information and data control with integrity and discretion.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
