Research Analyst in Latin America and the Caribbean">

We are seeking a talented Research Analyst to join our team in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality research products that provide actionable insights on economic and political developments in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to produce timely and accurate reports. They will also be able to build relationships with external contributors and sources, and support the consulting and sales teams to deliver projects as required.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about current events and has a strong interest in macroeconomics and forecasting. If you have excellent communication skills and are able to juggle multiple tasks effectively, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce economic and political forecasts for selected countries
  • Write analysis on key events in the countries you cover as they happen
  • Play an active role in producing original country and regional content that develops the EIU view on the region and the world
  • Support the consulting and sales teams to deliver projects as required
Requirements:
  • Strong writing and editing skills in English
  • Knowledge of macroeconomics and forecasting
  • Ability to identify the key drivers of growth in your region
  • Ability to write quickly and incisively about issues of interest to our clients
