Job Title: Plant Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of human resources programs, plans, and policies for assigned sites.
  • Manage staff recruitment, compensation, and reward strategies to ensure consistency with organizational models.
  • Conduct regular analysis of country-specific trends and share insights with regional/corporate teams to inform strategic actions and targets.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines, local laws, and regulations, implementing corrective and preventive actions promptly.
  • Implement performance management, training, and development programs as defined by HR Center of Expertise, providing feedback for effective roll-out.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain talent, including high-potential employees and succession planning.
  • Plan coverage for vacant positions, implement job enlargement, rotation, and enrichment in line with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Create an inclusive environment, promote open communication, and encourage employee feedback.
  • Provide guidance on HR processes, resolve issues legally and strategically.
  • Manage employee relations, ensuring adherence to legal, contractual, and company policies.
  • Provide HR services such as administration, payroll, industrial relations, and labor law compliance.
  • Monitor and manage HR budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainable growth.
  • Oversee HR costs, manage risks, and establish contingency plans.
  • Manage, coach, and develop HR staff, ensuring effective talent management.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve targets and align with company goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years proven HR management experience, including 5+ years as HR Plant Manager in international companies.
  • Proficiency in English (40% of daily routine).
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or Psychology.
  • Knowledge of Talent Management, succession planning, Compensation, and Total Rewards.
  • Understanding of HR management laws, trade unions, HRIS, Change Management, Product and Production processes, Data Analysis, budget management.
  • Residence in Sete Lagoas (on-site work required).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Experience with WCM and ISO standards 9001, 14001, 45001.
