The successful candidate will oversee the execution of human resource strategy, manage recruitment, training, and development processes to build a top-performing team aligned with company guidelines and local labor laws.
This role fosters a diverse and inclusive work environment by leveraging talent management, succession planning, and accurate total rewards for assigned plants.
The Human Resource Manager ensures the accurate execution of cost analysis, leads HR administration and payroll processes, and serves as the primary contact for labor industrial relations and disputes at plant level.
- Develop and implement human resource programs and plans annually for assigned sites, aligned with corporate directives.
- Manage staff recruitment, compensation, and reward strategies, ensuring consistency with organizational model.
- Analyze country-specific trends regularly and contribute to strategic actions and targets.
- Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and local laws, implementing corrective and preventive actions promptly.
- Execute performance management, training, and development programs, providing feedback for effective roll-out.
- Recruit, develop, and retain talent, including high-potential employees and succession planning.
- Plan coverage for vacant positions and implement job enlargement, rotation, and enrichment in line with legal and organizational requirements.
- Create an inclusive environment, promoting open communication and encouraging employee feedback.
- Provide guidance on human resource processes, resolve issues legally and strategically.
- Manage employee relations, ensuring adherence to legal, contractual, and company policies.
- Provide human resource services such as administration, payroll, industrial relations, and labor law compliance.
- Monitor and manage human resource budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainable growth.
- Oversee human resource costs, manage risks, and establish contingency plans.
- Manage, coach, and develop human resource staff, ensuring effective talent management.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve targets and align with company goals.
- 10+ years proven human resource management experience, including 5+ years as HR Plant Manager in international companies.
- Proficiency in English (40% of daily routine).
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or Psychology.
- Knowledge of Talent Management, succession planning, Compensation, and Total Rewards.
- Understanding of human resource management laws, trade unions, HRIS, Change Management, Product and Production processes, Data Analysis, budget management.
- Residence in Sete Lagoas (on-site work required).
