Medical Sales Specialist


Job Role Description:

Closing deals and driving growth in the Medtech sector.


Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Strategy Development: Identify opportunities to increase revenue, expand market share, and enhance overall performance in the Medtech sales space.
  2. Capital Sales Capabilities Enhancement: Develop the necessary skills and expertise to excel in capital sales within the Medtech industry, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive growth.
  3. Pricing Strategy Formulation: Design pricing strategies that balance market conditions and profitability targets in capital sales (asset; service; solutions).
  4. Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and adapting solutions to meet their demands effectively.
  5. Market Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and customer feedback to adjust sales tactics and value propositions accordingly.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with clinical, marketing, and operations teams to ensure product value propositions align with market expectations and customer needs.
  7. Training and Development Facilitation: Organize training sessions and workshops for the sales team on new capital solutions and technologies.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales management position within capital sales in the medical sector.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated effective leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire others.
Strategic Vision: Ability to think strategically and shape the long-term strategy of capital sales and capital management.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and performance metrics.
Financial Acumen: Knowledge of capital asset valuation techniques and understanding of return on investment (ROI) calculations specific to capital equipment. Proven track record in negotiating contracts and pricing with clients, emphasizing financial implications and value propositions.
