Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving peak performance and sales success across the business.

You will build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, partnering with clients to understand their business needs and objectives. Your role will involve developing and implementing strategic sales and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.

You will develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategies to produce the highest possible long-term market share. Additionally, you will prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

You will establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events. You will also meet with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

Furthermore, you will coordinate liaison between the sales department and other sales-related units. You will analyze and control expenditures of the division to conform to budgetary requirements.

You will review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field or significant work experience may be substituted for post-secondary education
  • 4+ yrs sales experience in medical device sales
  • 2+ yrs experience successfully managing sales teams, solid mentorship, and leadership skills
  • Advance proficiency in English is required (read, write, speak)
  • Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire a regionally based sales team
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Previous experience in medical device sales or related business
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to travel
