Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Character Concept Artist to design captivating characters for our product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Art Directors and development teams to visualize diverse content across the Fortnite universe.
  • Create unique, memorable, and compelling characters that align with our style guidelines.
  • Develop character designs in various body shapes, races, and aesthetics.
  • Work closely with the Art Director to refine visual styles and ensure high-quality designs.
  • Provide timely feedback to the concept art team and outsourcing vendors.
  • Collaborate with art, design, and production teams to drive project success.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in AAA game development as a Senior/Principal Concept Artist.
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of styles, creativity, and craftsmanship.
  • Excellent traditional artistic skills, including composition, anatomy, color theory, perspective, lighting, environment, architectural, character, costume, and graphic design.
  • Effective leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to coordinate with internal and external teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to estimate tasks accurately and maintain schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills and understanding of various art disciplines (animation, character, environment, VFX).
  • A user-focused, passionate, solutions-focused, and innovative mindset.
