Senior 3D Technical Artist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior 3D Technical Artist to lead the development of high-quality 3D models, textures, and visual assets for various projects. As a key member of our art department, you will be responsible for creating stunning 3D artwork that brings our concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with designers and other artists to establish project requirements and timelines, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Develop prototypes and concept models to effectively communicate ideas and design intent, fostering a culture of innovation and creativity.
  • Create intricate 3D models, including both organic and hard surface assets, using your expertise in sculpting and texturing.
  • Refine and optimize meshes for real-time applications, maintaining exceptional performance and visual fidelity.
  • Perform thorough performance profiling and optimization to ensure frame rates and visual quality meet the highest standards.
  • UV map and texture 3D models with meticulous attention to detail, resulting in visually stunning and realistic artwork.
  • Design and implement materials and shaders for various projects, pushing the boundaries of creative expression.
  • Illuminate scenes effectively, bringing depth and emotion to our digital creations.
  • Animate assets as required, adding an extra layer of dynamic movement and engagement.
  • Craft and implement particle effects and simulations, enhancing the overall visual experience.
  • Render stills and animations, producing high-quality images and videos that showcase our artistic vision.
  • Manage post-processing tasks, ensuring every piece of artwork meets the highest standards of quality and polish.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior artists, helping them grow and develop their skills.
