Senior Business Development Manager
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Malta. As a key member of our global sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, creating, and pursuing new business opportunities for Convera across multiple sectors in Malta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish new business relationships, identify, and address opportunities for foreign exchange and payment solutions to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Cold call prospective clients, research, and analyze clients' business objectives, identify their foreign exchange and international payment requirements, and design a benefits-based solution and action plan demonstrating how Convera can best meet their needs.
- Establish rapport and build credibility with clients through networking opportunities and effectively present solutions that encompass the client's entire international payment needs and complex Forex solutions, establishing us as the primary provider.
- Manage the complete sales cycle process to ensure maximum productivity and completion of sales and pipeline reports and competitor information.
About the Role:
- Education or equivalent skills with a strong desire to grow into a professional sales role.
- Strong Sales Background with a demonstrated ability to build a pipeline.
- Strong Sales Record.
- Ambitious, self-motivated, confident with high integrity and tenacity to outperform the competition.
- Financially astute with knowledge of business needs and concerns and able to demonstrate success in new business sales in a dynamic environment, consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication skills with a deep understanding of consultative sales principles, adept at executive corporate level negotiations, and able to build long-term client relationships.
- Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry, especially Foreign Exchange and Payments is a plus.
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
- Strong English language skills; Maltese speaking is a plus.
