Senior Business Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to lead our commercial operations in Brazil. As part of Impact Talent, you will have the opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing sales and customer service teams, and developing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing business growth strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Managing and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Business Development Manager will deputise for the General Manager (Business Head in Brazil) and support in areas such as marine and cargo operations, human resources, administration, trade management relationships, and shareholder relationships.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- 10-15 years of experience in trade or sales & marketing, preferably in container/liner shipping.
- Proven track record of growing market share and increasing revenue.
- General management experience and P/L exposure is advantageous.
- Excellent understanding of equipment management, port & terminal operations.
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese.
