Business Development Representative Role

At the forefront of our business success lies a key position – the Business Development Representative. This dynamic role demands exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and an innate ability to drive growth through targeted customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead organic growth initiatives by fostering strong relationships with customers and ensuring seamless alignment between account management teams.
  • End-to-end ownership of the quote-to-order process and Sales Operations activities for medium to large-sized accounts.
  • Maintain profitability of organic growth by guaranteeing quote-to-order performance meets customer expectations.
  • Proactively escalate pending actions, including KPI-management, and initiate improvement projects to optimize the quote-to-order process.
Critical Accountabilities:
  • Engage with customers through face-to-face and remote interactions to support quote-to-order and organic growth related requests and opportunities.
  • Responsible for commercial inventory management and preparing customers for digital platform adoption to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain and enhance customer relationships by executing customer requests and day-to-day account activities.
Bid Support and Non-Organic Growth Activities:
  • Support contract renewal, repricing, and project preparation activities to ensure standard quote-to-bill model execution.
  • Act as quality assurance and consultant to Bid teams regarding Sales Operations related topics.
  • Validate and sign off contractual elements against standard quote-to-bill process related to Sales Operations topics.
Quote to Order Cycle:
  • Own the quote-to-order cycle, ensuring quote-to-order performance meets customer expectations.
  • Maximize profitability of organic growth and own customer agreements.
  • Proactively document and develop customer-specific processes, templates, and requirements.
