Offshore Fund Administration Specialist

As a skilled professional in offshore funds administration, you will be part of a global team that transforms challenges into opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconciliation and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive reconciliations, generate detailed reports, and develop new templates to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
  • Data Management and Query Resolution: Assist with data entry, monitor trades, prices, and security-related data, and tackle system-based queries impacting the accuracy of position and P&L valuations.
  • Client Communication: Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to clients on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Collaborate with team members to act as advocates for clients.
  • System Management and Upgrades: Participate in workstreams focused on system upgrades and maintenance of Advent Geneva and other applications. Oversee the automated pricing process, troubleshoot issues, and establish new pricing workflows.
  • Operational Support: Maintain the Operations delivery calendar, assist in managing the year-end audit and financial statement preparation process, and contribute to the preparation of reports for Board meetings.
  • Client Implementation Support: Work closely with Client Implementation and operations teams to facilitate system setups, interface programming, and portfolio reporting for client deliverables.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide day-to-day support for ad-hoc requests from clients and internal teams, demonstrate a proactive approach to client service, share insights to drive the development of new processes and procedures, and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Risk and Compliance Responsibilities: Perform routine compliance checks, adhere to company risk and compliance processes and policies, maintain organized records of compliance documents and reports, and provide support during internal audits and reviews.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-3 years' experience with offshore fund administration or in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with financial derivatives pricing and accounting is desirable.
  • Previous experience with data management is essential.
  • An energetic and innovative professional with high energy and drive.
  • Proactive, effective communicator, and fluent in English (writing & speaking).
