Job Title: Commercial Trader

As a Commercial Trader, you will play a key role in shaping the future of food and energy.

The company is a leading global player in agriculture, with over 100,000 employees across 14 countries. We manage half a million hectares of palm oil plantations, including smallholder farms, in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Originate, trade, and distribute sugar commodities actively involved with our international teams.
  2. Evaluate risks and implement practical solutions as self-driven and results-oriented individual.
  3. Have a genuine interest in international trade and agricultural markets, customer-focused with strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  4. Demonstrate solid analytical thinking and negotiation capabilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
  5. Bring balance of being team player and independent thinker, with meticulous and proactive approach to daily tasks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree level in International Business, Economics or Supply Chain.
  • 1+ year relevant working experience preferably with analytical commodities background.
  • Proven skills in value creation/margin development.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
