Vice President of Strategic Growth

A visionary leader is sought to spearhead the strategic growth and development of our institution.
Responsibilities- Fundraising and Development: Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to secure resources, with a focus on major gifts from individual, corporate, and foundational donors.
- Donor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, identifying and engaging new and existing supporters to foster a sustainable base of support.
- Global Network Expansion: Leverage global networks to drive advancement goals, with an emphasis on the Middle East, North America, and Europe, and utilizing knowledge of the Iraqi Diaspora to facilitate fundraising.
- Strategic Leadership: Contribute to senior leadership team decisions, aligning fundraising efforts with the university's mission and objectives, and developing philanthropic priorities and goals.
- Management: Lead and grow a team of professionals, utilizing inspiring transformational leadership and astute transactional leadership to ensure strategic tracking and stewardship of prospects and donors.
Key Qualifications Include:
- Leadership Experience: A minimum of 10 years in Advancement, with significant experience leading teams towards achieving fundraising goals and fostering a culture of philanthropy.
- Bi-Regional Expertise: Proven ability to work effectively in both the Middle East and the United States, with experience managing donor relationships and understanding cultural nuances specific to these regions.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate the university's vision and goals compellingly to diverse stakeholders.
- Educational Background: A PhD or other earned doctorate degree in any field is required.
