Market Research Associate - Investor, Banker and Private Equity

About the Role

This role is housed within the Business and Relationship Management (BRM) group based in São Paulo.

The Market Research Associate role will support Brazil's country manager in managing and developing Fitch's Investor, Banker and Private Equity existing and new business relationships.

  • Deep capital markets research and prepare briefings for meetings
  • Understand and monitor competitors' ratings, maintaining internal reports and internal database with company/target and contacts information
  • Monitor news, keep track of Brazil's capital markets activities (local and external debt issuances), refinancing and M&A activities daily
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or analytically focused field of study
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and attention to details
  • Be pro-active on researching and finding new business opportunities (business oriented), strong organizational skills
