Sales Representative

The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating revenue and attaining their quota by selling the company's software and services to new customers in a designated territory or industry.
Key Activities- Develop a comprehensive sales plan to meet/exceed established quota.
- Research and identify target customers.
- Prospect and develop business relationships with potential customers.
- Leverage knowledge and experience to educate potential customers on the benefits of the company's solution.
- Record all customer account information in the CRM, including opportunities, commitments, significant conversations, customer visits or sales calls.
- Support sales solution engineers in the development and presentation of software demonstrations to potential customers.
- Provide information and support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
- Ensure effective transition of new prospects/end-users from pre-sale process to implementation; remain actively involved in process.
- Develop and communicate accurate sales forecasting on a real-time basis.
- Develop and maintain pipeline.
- Evaluate new lead prospects generated by sales associates and qualify as genuine sales opportunities, as appropriate.
- Actively contribute ideas to improve sales process and overall growth and quality of the sales team.
- Continue to grow knowledge and awareness of best practices and market trends.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in sales.
- Microsoft Windows and Office proficient.
- Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others.
- Strong at gaining consensus across multiple departments and leadership levels.
- Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.
- Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage work to completion with minimal oversight.
- Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas.
- Up to 50% travel time required.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job.
