Purchasing Professional Opportunity

The primary responsibility of the Purchasing Professional will be to serve as a key point of contact for procurement, assisting in the acquisition of materials, services, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize purchasing documentation correctly.
  • Negotiate contracts and discounts with suppliers effectively.
  • Evaluate new vendors and set up their qualifications in the Approved Supplier List.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to support sales proposals.
  • Establish strong relationships with all vendors.
  • Ensure adherence to capital expenditure policies.
  • Collaborate with Accounting on invoice and receiving discrepancies.
  • Oversee the preparation of company purchase orders.
  • Assist in resolving shipment and inventory receipt discrepancies.
  • Maximize the use of the Oracle system to optimize work performance.
Requirements
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in purchasing.
  • A degree in business or a related field is required.
  • Advanced verbal and written English skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of ISO9100 is necessary, and AS9100D Quality Management Systems is preferred.
  • Computer skills with knowledge of ERP/MRP, Excel spreadsheets, and Word.
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP EBS computer system.
  • Demonstrated cost savings/cost reduction history and understanding of LEAN inventory management strategies.
  • Accounting and financial understanding (Cost of Sales, Fixed assets, Invoicing, Purchasing).
  • Knowledge of inventory tracking & control (Physical inventories, Fixed assets, Min-Max, etc.).
