Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons, including near-term executional demand control, 24-month rolling operational forecast, yearly annual operating plan, and five-year strategic plan.
  • Lead a team responsible for reviewing historical sales trends, researching key drivers, preparing forecast data, reviewing statistical forecast models, integrating market insights, and evaluating forecast results to determine the monthly consensus forecast.
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated Sales and Marketing assumptions.
  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus-based approach by working with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • Identify significant deviations to prior forecasts for discussion during the monthly integrated business planning (IBP) demand review process.
  • Use and maintain demand forecasting software as the primary forecasting system tool, serving as the systems expert on all projects.
  • Develop and maintain required reporting, such as accuracy metrics and projections, to assist in the Consensus process.
  • Generate demand planning scenarios during strategic planning processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and develop insightful solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in demand forecasting software and systems.
