As a Government Partnerships Manager, you will oversee key government relationships and revenue streams. This role involves identifying products, generating sales, and engaging with various government bodies to drive business growth.
Main Responsibilities- Lead a strategic government partner relationship to maximize business opportunities.
- Drive revenue from key government clients through effective sales techniques and marketing strategies.
- Identify products within the company's portfolio suitable for the market and facilitate sales.
- Cultivate relationships with federal, state, and/or municipal government entities to explore new revenue opportunities.
- Represent the organization at events, conferences, and trade shows to uncover business prospects.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public administration, or a related field; master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in government affairs, strategic partnerships, or business development, preferably within the government sector (minimum 15 years).
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent networking abilities to build and maintain relationships with government entities and key stakeholders.
- Effective sales techniques, marketing strategies, and negotiation skills to drive revenue from government clients.
- Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
