Job Overview

The Broker-Dealer Operations Specialist will serve as the expert on all aspects of managed account model management, trading platform, annuity operations, and associated custody, clearance, and order execution processing.

Key responsibilities include serving as the SME for field and internal partners, advisor as PM model creation, management, trading, multi-account/strategy proposals and implementation, Envestnet Trading methodology, tax efficiency options, overlay and account shopping features, account servicing, and possess a broad mastery of service and administrative functions.

Additional responsibilities include proactively and reactively supporting inquiries from the field on these strategies and processes, serving as the point of contact for customer inquiries from investment advisers, 3rd party sponsors, and other internal Guardian teams, and assisting in the creation, maintenance, training, and teaching of relevant products, processes, and technology to both internal and external representatives.

Required skills and qualifications include extensive industry experience, securities license preferred, knowledge of retail client onboarding/new account process, and advisory products, high degree of self-confidence, work independently and have rapid decision-making ability, analytical and organizational skills, proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and creating Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, and experience in the managed account space, specifically with Envestnet and/or Orion.
