About the Role

We are seeking a skilled College and Career Navigator-Basic Skills to provide personalized support services to adult learners.

  1. Deliver customized counseling, academic coaching, case management, transition, and referral services to students in the Adult Education Basic Skills project grant.
  2. Maintain accurate documentation of participant files, data, and case notes in the approved Case Management system.
  3. Closely monitor progress towards completion of established goals and objectives.
  4. Assist participants in planning for necessary resources and support services.
  5. Evaluate personal needs of adult education/basic skills participants and identify relevant resources.
  6. Attend workshops, training sessions, meetings, and events as required.
  7. Utilize technology, such as Banner Software, to enhance office procedures and grant compliance.
  8. Collaborate with administration to evaluate and improve program activities.
  9. Develop relationships with local agencies to provide resources for AE Basic Skills' participants.
  10. Support participants in identifying employment opportunities and develop employability skills.
