About the Opportunity:
We seek a seasoned tax professional with a proactive and hands-on approach to join our team in Brazil. This individual should be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment, collaborating with other teams locally and internationally to drive finance management and operational process excellence.
This role is responsible for managing and reviewing tax calculations and returns of mid-to-high complexity related to IRPJ/CSLL and PIS/COFINS across all entities of the Group. The successful candidate will also provide strategic tax advice, support various teams, and stay up-to-date on legislative developments impacting current and deferred taxes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review tax calculations and returns of mid-to-high complexity regarding IRPJ/CSLL and PIS/COFINS for all entities of the Group
- Provide expert tax advice and support to internal stakeholders (local and international) and other teams (finance, products, marketing, HR, operations)
- Stay informed about and assess legislative developments that may impact current and deferred IRPJ/CSLL and PIS/COFINS
- Report key findings and recommendations to HQ in Singapore
- Collaborate with third-party vendors as needed
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies and risk mappings for all entities of the Group
- Support new IT projects and tax automation initiatives with the product IT team
Requirements:
- Lawyer, Administrator, or Accountant background
- Experience with Oracle, TaxOne, SAP (not obligatory)
- Advanced English language skills
- Significant experience in tax compliance monthly routines
