Job Description

The Software Development Manager will lead the engineering team, overseeing daily operations and providing strategic leadership. They will drive initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong people management skills.

This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, removing obstacles, and driving project metrics. It requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring valuable deliveries. The Software Development Manager will also be responsible for talent retention and succession planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical leadership: Lead complex projects, provide technical guidance, and ensure quality, performance, and security.
  • Project Management: Manage timelines, ceremonies, and remove blocks to ensure valuable deliveries.
  • People Management: Evaluate, IDP, feedback, 1:1, ensure processes are followed, improve productivity, and motivate the team.
  • Relationship management with stakeholders, taking accountability to deliver software solutions and get team commitment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related areas or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Software Development, leadership roles, and delivering software projects.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and hands-on profile.
