
Rare Disease Market Access Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative access strategies to bring rare disease therapies to patients in international markets. With a strong understanding of the complex healthcare ecosystem, this individual will lead negotiations with payers to ensure timely approvals and product acquisition.
About This RoleThis role requires a deep understanding of the Argentinian healthcare landscape, including payers, public programs, regulatory agencies, and specialty wholesalers. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation, strategic thinking, and engagement skills, particularly when interacting with medical, commercial, and administrative decision-makers.
The selected candidate will work independently, navigating ambiguity in high-impact environments while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
- A minimum of 4–6 years of experience in market access or commercial roles, with at least 3 years focused on rare or ultra-rare diseases
- Proven track record of working with high-cost, low-volume therapies under Named Patient Sales or exceptional access frameworks
- Strong expertise in the Argentinian healthcare system, including payers, public programs, regulatory agencies, and specialty wholesalers
- Excellent negotiation, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills, particularly when dealing with medical, commercial, and administrative decision-makers
- Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity in high-impact environments
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
