Role Overview

Job Description:

A Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Program Director by generating reports, conducting detailed analysis of project/portfolio data, and ensuring overall project performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing project performance metrics
  • Evaluating project governance and compliance
  • Creating objective, clear, and concise reports
  • Identifying general trends in project performance
  • Assessing the effectiveness of risk management strategies

The Project Coordinator will work independently and may lead others, supporting the Head of the Portfolio Management Office to:

  • Analyze project and portfolio performance
  • Establish and maintain project governance and compliance
  • Create visibility around the portfolio's status and health
  • Develop objective, clear, and concise reporting
  • Identify general trends in project performance and recommend solutions
  • Advise project managers on report creation and support the use of reporting tools
  • Analyze project management effectiveness across the portfolio and mitigate risks
  • Ensure prioritization and alignment of initiatives with business objectives
  • Support consistent demand management processes
  • Establish resource plans for successful project delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator
  • Ability to identify complex problems and drive resolution
  • Effective communication of technical and non-technical information
  • Strong active listening skills
  • Working knowledge of financials
  • Understanding of software quality assurance principles
  • Technical mindset with attention to detail
  • High-quality organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
