Our company is seeking a skilled Mechanical Foreman to oversee the installation and alignment of mechanical equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and extensive knowledge of FPSO operations.
Required Skills:
- FPSO Experience
- Seaman's Book and certificates
Responsibilities:
- Direct the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, valves, turbines, engines, and HVAC units.
- Ensure correct fit-up, bolt torqueing, grouting, and commissioning preparation.
- Manage a team of mechanics, millwrights, riggers, and helpers.
- Assign tasks, monitor work quality, and optimize productivity.
- Enforce site HSE rules and procedures.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks and promote the use of PPE and safe work practices.
- Collaborate with QA/QC and commissioning teams.
- Interface with piping, electrical, structural, and instrumentation teams.
- Monitor daily work progress, manpower, and material needs.
- Report to the Mechanical Supervisor or Construction Manager.
