Manufacturing Process Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team. This key role will collaborate closely with various departments to develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes related to machining, assembly and inspection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements new manufacturing processes and designs equipment and fixtures to support production goals
  • Captures knowledge of existing processes and releases standardized operating procedures
  • Evaluates manufacturing operations for efficiency, cost-effectiveness and regulatory compliance
  • Conducts time studies and updates standards within the enterprise resource planning system
  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives and conducts regular Kaizen events
  • Collaborates with vendors to select and procure equipment and supplies needed for manufacturing operations
Required Skills And Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Systems or Industrial Engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong technical and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, as well as Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and analytical software tools
