Lead Phlebotomist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Phlebotomist to join our team. As a leader in the healthcare industry, we strive to provide exceptional patient care and support our community's blood needs.

About the Position
  • Leads, mentors, trains, and serves as a role model for fixed site staff.
  • Ensures staff provide excellent customer service.
  • Acts as a key point of contact for donors, patients, and hospital staff.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prioritize, set goals, and establish staff assignments and communicate shift expectations.
  • Responsible for all activities, supplies, and equipment required for successful collection events.
  • Review daily QC for accuracy and completion.
  • Ensure staff follows all policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Medical Assistant Certification or Phlebotomy Certification is strongly preferred.
  • At least one year's experience as a Phlebotomist and two years' experience as a Team Lead in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
