Job Title: Associate Director, Sales
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our commercial efforts in Brazil.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a sales strategy to broaden our portfolio in the region.
- Identifying and pursuing upsell opportunities through insight-based sales strategies for complex clients.
- Managing all commercial aspects of our relationships with Brazilian issuers.
- Leveraging strong communication and negotiation skills to gain user acceptance and optimize revenue.
- Delivering insights on existing product functionality/use cases as well as exploring new product opportunities.
- Tracking customer & industry developments/trends to identify opportunities and respond accordingly.
- Promoting and insightfully selling our sustainability solutions.
- Providing high-touch client service to the intermediary (primarily banking) community to ensure we are well positioned on their transactional flow.
- Utilizing and maintaining updated Salesforce data to monitor pipeline and opportunity status for revenue management as well as contacts.
- Understanding customer problems and identifying ways to help clients address them.
- Developing & maintaining relationships with both new and existing project sponsors – communicating our value proposition and market positioning.
- Providing the pulse of the market to senior management.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver an optimized customer experience.
- Developing and managing the team's marketing collateral.
- Preparing data & key insights for monthly reporting.
- Established sales experience in the Brazilian Financing/Capital Markets industry.
- Willingness to provide timely and premier service to internal/external stakeholders.
- Able to analyze client information quickly, respond logically, and use data to influence client purchase decisions.
- Extensive background in the debt capital markets.
- Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in teams.
- Proven record of maintaining strong relationships with key finance market participants.
- Strong presentation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Exceptional skills in listening to clients, articulating ideas and complex information in a clear and structured manner.
- Desire to continuously personally learn and help others develop as well.
- Availability to travel.
- Proven track record of sales success.
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent).
- Experience in working with DCM teams or Financial Institutions.
- Knowledge of Sustainable Finance/Environmental, Social & Governance.
