Market Access Director

The Market Access Director will lead an integrated market access strategy to ensure Takeda's innovative therapies are accessible to patients in the South Cone region.

This role encompasses responsibilities over market access, public & government affairs, patient advocacy, communications, social responsibility, and crisis management.

The director will establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including government bodies, regulatory agencies, patient advocacy groups, healthcare providers, industry associations, NGOs/NPOs, academic institutions, and media.

  • Leadership: Foster talent development and capability building, applying Takeda Leadership Behaviours to cultivate the Takeda Culture.
  • Market Access Strategy: Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for pipeline and in-line products & treatments, aligning with short and long-term business objectives.
  • Corporate Affairs Strategy: Develop and execute a corporate affairs strategy for the South Cone Cluster, aligning with the Cluster Aspiration Plan, Takeda Global/GEM Corporate Affairs, and adhering to Takeda's vision, mission, and values.
  • Payer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key payers, including government agencies, private insurers, and healthcare providers to secure optimal reimbursement and formulary placement.
  • Pricing and Reimbursement: Lead pricing and reimbursement negotiations with government authorities and payers to ensure competitive and sustainable pricing for Takeda's products.
