Primary Purpose of this Position:

This position is part of the leadership team and focuses on delivering effective business partnership to regional operations teams. The role aims to drive financial value through operating cost improvements and supporting growth initiatives.

The role supports two critical areas:

  1. Provide technical leadership and support to the Operations Finance Leadership team, acting as the first point of escalation for problem-solving and leading projects or project steps.
  2. Provide backup support to Plant Finance Supervisors at manufacturing plants within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted business partner supporting decision-making and driving performance improvements.
  • Oversee regional reporting and consolidation of financial metrics monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
  • Assist in analyzing month-end financial results, annual plans, and quarterly reforecasts.
  • Identify spending trends and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Support plant finance tasks such as financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and capital budget management.
  • Support initiatives to enhance performance and educate non-finance teams to improve financial and business acumen.
  • Communicate financial summaries effectively to management.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and financial modeling as needed.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field, training or experience in finance, forecasting, and business principles, strong negotiation and influencing skills, system proficiency, and ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and adapt standard finance techniques.
