Role Summary/Purpose The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for sales growth of Wabtec freight business for determined account and will serve as the key interface with the customer and effectively manage interactions across several P&Ls, product, engineering, proposals and finance teams to secure long term and sustainable account growth Essential Responsibilities: - Lead and develop winning strategy for all major opportunities and serve as the Wabtec key point of contact and "Voice of the Customer". - Utilizes all internal and external resources to maximize order growth, meet annual customer order goals and strategic objectives - Support negotiations between customers and divisions resulting in signed contracts. - Develop influential and effective relationships at all levels of the customer’s organization and develop strategies to win business - Integrate the technical support team, including contracts, finance, product support, and others in the implementation of customer strategies - Lead an integrated sales team to determine/create customer needs (CTQ / VOOC), solving business problems through a consultative, outcome focused approach - Act as key contact / liaison and Lead communication between assigned customers and Wabtec Corporation business units. Interact with operations as necessary to meet customer requirements or to resolve business or technical issues. - Provide specific leadership, plans, and actions to assure that Wabtec wins profitable sales - Responsible for overall customer satisfaction evaluation, plans, and follow through Qualifications/Requirements Wabtec Corporation is committed to taking on the world’s toughest challenges.
