Title and Summary

Director, Account Management

Overview:
The Digital Partnerships team in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) is responsible for executing Mastercard’s digital strategy with key digital merchants across multiple sectors, and technology partners. In doing so, the team aids in the expansion of Mastercard’s digital footprint in the region and drives transformational efforts for digital payments across 45 countries and territories.
- This is an opportunity to be a part of a highly motivated team with a focus on digital engagements, developing value for the mutual benefit of our organizations, and executing on the future of payments and commerce using related technologies.
- The lead will have direct end-responsibility for identifying, evaluating, negotiating and closing deals working alongside Finance, Legal, and Product teams, among others.
- He/She work closely together with other regions to share best practices, identify key needs, and emerging trends to conduct better partner engagement and continue driving innovation.

Role:
Manage a set of strategic Regional/Global digital platforms
Work with customers on their onboarding, commercial agreements, launch and growth
Drive new revenue through existing account expansion and new account development
Be the voice of Mastercard, drive thought leadership and support our customers plans
Be a strategic thinker that delivers value to its partners
Drive the acceptance enablement strategy of the company

All About You:
Have experience in the merchant, digital platform, marketplace payment space
Have advanced account management experience and a hunter spirit
Deep knowledge about the innovation ecosystem in LAC and trends
Be customer centric
Look for complementary products or services that can also help the customer
Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly
Be able to communicate your vision and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders
Always look for potential solutions to solve problems
English and Spanish required, Portuguese preferred
