AWS is seeking an experienced communicator to deliver community impact reporting for community engagement and social impact programs across our Latin America Region. We’re looking for a self-motivated professional with internal communications, business intelligence, and/or data visualization experience to join the global Operations Community Engagement and Social Imapct Team.

In this role, you’ll manage and report out on a complex range of data streams that measure our community partnerships, volunteer activations, employee engagement campaigns, and charitable donations. We need a strategic, creative thinker who is excited to use data to ‘tell the story’ of our impact through strategic analysis, communication products, and end user visualizations. This will require using business intelligence (BI) tools, visualizing trends, and writing compelling insights to share with internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization. We’re looking for someone with a track record of delivering results for large-scale projects and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.

This position is based in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Travel may be required up to 20% of the time.

Key job responsibilities
- Identify and execute the most effective delivery of program information to internal partner teams and stakeholders.
- Dive deep to understand the impact of community programming in opportunities in communities where Amazon Ops employees live and work.
- Design, publish, and analyze automated BI solutions for recurrent reporting.
- Create visualizations that clearly communicate progress and results.
- Write and produce effective internal communications that summarize key insights and display information in easy-to-read formats.
- Manage the timeline and execution of tight recurring deadlines and special projects from start to finish. Prioritize high impact projects and triage external requests while insisting on the highest standards.
- Leverage mechanisms and propose process solutions to improve community impact data collection and quality.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partner teams including internal communications, public relations, public policy, senior Ops leaders, and other community teams at Amazon.
- Capture lessons learned, be curious about new approaches, and research opportunities to continuously improve program tactics.

Engage with students of the students from the program - identify risks and scale what is working

Manage and build the right local communication and engagement plans

This team works through and with our AWS partners, to drive positive change in the world. We will focus on empowering people who have historically been marginalized or left behind, we will start with a focus to close tech and AWS tech skills gap impacting our AWS partners. We will leverage existing vehicles across AWS, Training and Certification, and community alliances
