Job mission

Contributes to the success of Buckman’s digital strategy by successfully leading a digital team, collaborating with digital associates/leaders, stakeholders and external partners on initiatives, and leading complex global projects that create new and valuable outcomes for our customers. This role functions as a developmental opportunity and stretch assignment for associates who have managerial aspirations.

**Skills**:

- Leads and successfully completes complex global digital projects that positively impact the customer experience and increase the adoption of digital solutions
- Drives team performance;
- Supports and helps drive an innovative culture
- Aligns the team’s work with the broader digital strategy
- Collaborates effectively with the global digital team and with other departments, stakeholders and leaders
- BS (or equiv.) + 7 years of experience to include 5 years of technical project leadership experience
- MS (or equiv.) + 5 years of experience to include 3 years technical project leadership experience
- Ph.D. + 3 years of experience to include 2 years technical project leadership experience
- Has knowledge of Buckman’s target industries, including Pulp and Paper, industrial water treatment, and leather.
- Has strong technical skills that span Chemical Engineering/Chemistry and digital technologies (Software, Innovation, Consulting, Commercialization)
