Ultragenyx Brazil is seeking an experienced, Health Care Professional (HCP), patient oriented and having an urgence sense of priority to be the Patient Diagnosis and Support Program Manager.
Manage across Brazil functions, including members of our leadership team.
**Work Model**:
Flex: This role will typically require onsite work 2-3 days each week, or more depending on business needs. In many locations, the business will set certain days each week that Flex employees are required to be onsite.
**Responsibilities**:
- Serve as a point of contact to support Diagnosis and Support Program vendors on behalf Ultragenyx Brazil.
- Facilitate the internal employee's communication between Programs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure programs meet clinical standards and are aligned with patient needs.
- Ensure that patient feedback is considered in program adjustments and improvements, monitoring the quality of service provided by company and third-party.
- Support design and implementation process for programs that enhance patient care and support, including SOPs, WIs, flows and scripts.
- Establish and monitoring Programs Service Level Agreement (SLA) including (contractor services; delivery times; responsibilities between company and third parties, expected results, costs and expenses in detail), focused to provide a patient diagnosis and support services with excellence and establish Programs Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to present program results, and provide support based in the Programs to support the business.
- Uses strategy opportunities from Programs to improve the program always focusing in provide benefit for Ultragenyx patients and implementing quality improvement measures.
- Lead and manage a team that may include healthcare professionals, other staff (for example, vendors). Provide training and support to all Ultragenyx employees that have interaction with PSP and PSD programs, as well as to vendors in other they are effective in their roles and understand the area of interactions with each one of the UGX employees).
- Manage the programs budget and resources, ensuring efficiency.
**Requirements**:
- Health care professional with a university degree (i.e., third level qualification) in life sciences or allied health fields required (Medical Doctor, Pharmacist, Nurse);
- Direct Patient Diagnosis and Patient Support management experience in pharmaceutical industry and for rare diseases (is a plus) with excellent understanding, oversight or management of vendors, proven experience supporting Patient Diagnosis and Patient Support regulations (example: _Interfarma Conduct Code_), initiatives, standards practices recommended by Ultragenyx.
- Requires a high level of initiative and independence, ability to navigate fast paced and dynamic work environment; ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and demands simultaneously with ability to adjust to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure; organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (required), Brazilian Portuguese (required), and Spanish (is a plus).
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Some national/international travel may be required; willingness to travel including overnight trips. #**LI-CK1 #LI-Hybrid**
