**Boeing Brazil** is seeking **Occupational Health and Safety Specialist**, reporting to the Operations Manager of the site and will join the Environmental, Health and Safety Global team.

Assure occupational, environmental, health and safety (EHS) requirements are met at Sao Jose dos Campos. Assess compliance to regulatory and company requirements.

Establish and lead CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention).

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Plan, implement and assess occupational health and safety programs and processes to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Develop and provide Occupational Health and Safety training and instructions.
- Evaluate, interpret and advise on the impact of emerging EHS issues, regulations and legislation to company operations. Prepare position papers and provide input to internal organizations, industry and trade groups and government agencies.
- Plan, conduct health and safety audits. Conduct audits, inspection investigations and coordinate resolution of issues
- Evaluate and provide selection advice on existing or emergent risk management control technologies.
- Develop corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections.
- Interface with regulatory agencies
- Coordinate site inspections
- Develop and conduct internal safety trainings
- Conduct periodic assessments of workplace programs and practices to assure effectiveness
- Assess risks, develops and implements risk mitigations for new and ongoing business activities
- Evaluate new regulations for impact on company business activities

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
- The ability and willingness to occasional business travel.
- Experience in Occupational Safety and Health Program Management
- Knowledge and skills in conducting risk assessments
- Certification in Occupational Safety
- Knowledge with CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention)
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language

**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:

- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study
- Certification in Environment, Safety and Health field. Such as NEBOSH-IGC and OHSAS 18001
