Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in event planning, recruiting, or program management. - Ability to speak and write in Portuguese and English fluently. Preferred qualifications: - Understanding of regional hiring laws and the regional university landscape. - Ability to work with multiple groups and functions, including remote teams. - Ability to form strong personal networks across a complex, fast-moving organization. - Ability to work effectively in a team and lead efforts across disciplines, with excellent written and verbal communications skills. - Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills. - Passion for working with students and supporting initiatives geared towards building a more representative workforce. **About the job**: The Intern Program serves to build a strong, diverse pipeline of student talent for Google leading to full time graduate hires. We aim to introduce students to Google’s culture of innovation and respect, and deliver an internship experience that will enable students to see themselves at Google. Our programs focus on providing students with mentorship and the opportunity to develop their skill set in a professional environment, while making important contributions to Google’s products and processes. As a Program Manager for Intern Programs and Campus Outreach, you will support the team in launching, managing, and improving our intern programs. You will own a portfolio of universities, cultivate relationships with students and external campus partners, and develop our internal recruiting goals to attract the next generation of Googlers. You’ll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Google through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices. **Responsibilities**: - Manage early career programs in Latin America end-to-end. - Develop and implement inclusive outreach and program strategies to build Google’s short - Take a data-driven approach to conceptualize, develop, implement, and measure program strategies while delivering on hiring goals. - Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on hiring goals.
