**About this opportunity**
- The **Sr. Manager, Sales Operations** will guide the Align process and projects for critical parts of the business to ensure efficiency across the organization and drive the optimization of systems and processes. The focus for this role will be enhancing processes that are complex at times and span operational teams for the Americas.
- You have the passion to constantly look for improvements either thru process, systems or infrastructure changes. You will identify and lead the need for change.
- You will lead the optimization of sales effort with the Americas Special Markets strategic sales teams by supporting all new sales programs, contract strategies, and the development of sales tools.
- You must enjoy working cross functionally and building effective, strong relationships with all assigned business partners (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Training, and Business Intelligence/IT teams). Ability to ‘influence without authority’ is critical for this role
- Key person for understanding the unmet needs of customers in terms of processes, policies, tools, infrastructure and other activities, and building a plan of action to execute with counterparts and internal stakeholders.

**In this role, you will**

Understand the unmet needs of the different sales groups in terms of processes, policies, tools, infrastructure and other activities, and building a plan of action to execute with counterparts and stakeholders.
- Work to automate processes for account setup of new Dental Service Organizations (DSOs), conversion of existing doctors and facilitate onboarding and off-boarding of doctors within a DSO
- Manage key communication between internal stakeholders Business Development Managers (BDMs) and key customer contacts ensuring all are aware of significant changes to program status, specifications and timelines in a timely manner regarding Special Markets Program execution
- Create an updated engagement model to staff and plan for the implementation of process changes.
- Communicate resource needs across all groups and recommend a plan to fill resource and skill gaps.
- Develop long-term relationships with key business executives and stakeholders to ensure best implementation practices are being demonstrated.
- Along with the Director of Sales Operations, develop plans for sales representative deployment, activities, to ensure effectiveness.
- Ensure that the current tools & processes are designed to support automation, remove roadblocks and drive efficiencies in the field, while continuously investigating alternative best solutions.
- Lead cross functional projects targeted at optimizing business operations and sales effectiveness.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**In this role, you’ll need **
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (Masters Degree Preferred)
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
- Around 10 years of experience in Sales Operations or Process Improvement
- Strong analytical background - must include ability to identify relevant material within organization and analyze it creatively to draw inferences regarding the likely effect on the customer adoption and implementation.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity - will need to create scenarios of alternate outcomes and make recommendations about the implications of integration decisions based on limited and imperfect information.
- Experience with managing a team responsible for creating and maintaining contracts for large group practices (similar to GPO)
- Experience with contracting strategy, development and execution. With strong focus on contract compliance and maintenance
- Medical device experience preferred
