**Caterpillar's **Retail Channel Aftermarket Services Consultant **will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to drive retail STU growth through Physical Channels (Insides Sales Reps (ISRs)/Parts Counter Advisors (PCAs)/Channel Expansion) in Latin America. The incumbent will support the Retail Aftermarket Service Representatives (ASRs) to activate and expand physical channels at priority SGP dealers. They will also be responsible for driving ISR and PCA sales effectiveness and eCommerce Activation aligned with CISD Breakthroughs 4 and 5 and Priority Dealers’ Retail and Small Core Services Growth Plans.

This role is a key interface between CISD Retail Services Development (RSD) team and the Retail Aftermarket Solutions Reps (ASRs) and Dealers in the Americas. The Retail Channel Consultant holds a pivotal role in driving retail STU growth via Inside Sales Reps (ISRs), Parts Counter Advisors (PCA), and supporting Channel Expansion strategies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Execute strategy for Retail and Small Core sales growth via ISR and Parts Counter
- Execute ISR Sales competitions for AmSouth
- Own dealer/field communications and engagement on these topics
- Deploy training for ISRs, ISR Managers, Parts Counter, and Parts Counter Managers in region to support sales effectiveness
- Provide field execution support for priority dealer Retail Services growth plans - Deliverable 3: Optimize Coverage
- Collaborate with DSD counterparts to identify dealers with ISR coverage gaps or PCA capacity shortages and drive resolution and closure of ISR/PCA gaps
- Support channel expansion initiatives in Americas South
- Gather VOC / VOD / CCRs related to Retail and Small Core Physical Channel Activation
- Define and document dealer best practices for success with ISR and PCA activation
- Track, measure, communicate and drive KPIs for short and long-term success of physical channel development and execution initiatives
Must communicate effectively across product, industry, dealer and/or customer audiences to gain understanding and acceptance of ideas and recommendations. Must have ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences.
**Basic Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum 5 years of field experience or extensive experience working with dealer networks
- Experience with Aftermarket parts and service offerings or Dealer marketing and sales operations processes
- Strong project management skills
- Spanish and English language proficiency
- Portuguese language proficiency
- Prior background working with the retail customer base
- Ability to create/enable behavioral changes in organizations and motivating others inside and outside Caterpillar to improve performance
- Ability to work independently, innovate and deliver results
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
