As a Microsoft Teams Technology Specialist’s (TS) your main goal is to win the technical decision of customers to purchase and use our technology. You will work in a team, enabling the customers through digital transformation by leveraging the Modern Workplace of Microsoft 365 and Surface. TSs are expected to be able to both own and win the customers technical decisions, as well as find new opportunities through their contacts and work they are on for salespeople to further pursue. As a TS, you work within a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to help educate your customers at a technical level, demonstrate and prove our solutions, and win the technical decision allowing the team to achieve/exceed quarterly Microsoft 365 suite, Teams, Surface and OEM Meeting/Calling devices sales/usage targets in your accounts. Being part of this team will allow you to maintain and develop your deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based infrastructure technologies. This role is flexible in that you can work [up to 50%/up to 100%] from home.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Scale Teams Customer Engagements**:_ _You will_ _reach out to customers proactively and engage key customer technical decision makers using knowledge of customer context; expertise in Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, and devices; depth knowledge in Frontline Worker enablement and Viva solutions; and other technical and industry knowledge. Leading complex technical discussions with customers and establishing rules of engagement (e.g., role boundaries, handoff strategies) for extended teams, leveraging knowledge of processes (e.g., Managed Service Provider [MSP], Managed Certified Professional [MCP]), tools, and programs (e.g., FastTrack, customer investment funding [ECIFs]) and leveraging knowledge of resources (e.g., roles, Microsoft Technology Center, demo sites, virtual sites) and engaging product teams (e.g., engineering) to remediate technical blockers.
- ** Education**: You will build readiness plans for peers and proactively identify gaps and new opportunities for learning; monitoring & responding to internal tech community posts, attending and acting as a thought leader on community calls, sessions, hackathons, etc. Practicing expertise by communicating with customers, partners, and senior colleagues to expand knowledge of architecture and demonstrating new and updated Microsoft Teams products and services.
- ** Scale Through Partners**:You will promote the partner within the Microsoft ecosystem and develop deep partner relationships. Identifying new Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, devices, Frontline Worker and Viva partnership opportunities to build subsidiary strategy.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR 8+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR equivalent experience.
