PayRetailers is a payment gateway designed to handle mass online payments to the Latin American market. The company combines local markets expertise with payment technology enabling global merchants to successfully expand their business into high growth, emerging markets while eliminating the many operational complexities of managing cross-border payments. Our strategy has created a differentiated model in the payments landscape.

Our Risk team is growing and we are looking for a Head of Banking to be based in Sao Paulo who will develop our banking operations management framework and strategy for PayRetailers and our coming soon Digital Wallet, defining also a risk assessment of our main markets operations. The main goal is to build a strong and reliable banking infrastructure to support current business including both bank accounts and alternative payment method.

**Job Duties And Responsibilities**:

- Develop a banking operations management framework and strategy for PayRetailers Digital Wallets, including developing risk assessments of key markets, countries, customers, and banks.
- Develop and keep current the Digital Wallets Banking Acceptance Policy.
- Develop and maintain PayRetailers Digital Wallets documentation to be used for account maintenance activities, as well as ongoing bank account management.
- Oversee the processing of all account opening and closing activities, provide the documentation required by banks, and manage the ongoing bank KYC activities.
- Manage internal access to bank accounts.
- Provide ongoing reports to the business of current banking status and health as well as key banking activities.
- Engage with key internal stakeholders to facilitate account opening and closing activities.
- Manage the day to day activities of the Banking team including planning, scheduling, and reporting.
- Provide direction, training, and mentoring for the team of Banking Managers, Analysts, and Specialists.

**Experience And Qualifications**:

- +5 years of experience in a similar role in the fintech industry with focus on digital wallets products.
- Senior Level Role in International Banks with deep knowledge of banking policies in Risk & Complianc
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting (master will be a plus).
- Proficient level of English and Spanish.
- Self-motivated, with ability to lead and drive change initiatives, can-do attitude.
- Deep understanding of functioning of banking operations.
- Good organisational/time management skills, structural thinking.
- Ability to be hands on with high attention to detail without losing the strategic standpoint.
- Willingness to work in a fast-growing company working environment and adapt to changes fast.
- Effective business partnering skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
